Major Refits
Townsend Bay Marine is the yard of choice on the West Coast for major refits. Our deeply experienced staff can help you with:
- Repowering with marine diesels from 50 to 500 hp, including Yanmar, Cat, Cummins, and other major marine engine manufacturers.
- Upgrading systems with additions like new bow thrusters, hydraulic stabilizers, forward looking sonar, and new electronics.
- New interiors, including cabinetry, upholstery, modified cabin layouts, and paneling. We enclosed a flying bridge for one yacht, and built a custom interior for another.
- Exterior modifications. We added a swim platform to lengthen the hull of one yacht, increasing performance and improving trim.
